Sandra en Job: huwelijksreportage in West-Friesland

Vorige week hadden we een 'thuis-wedstrijd': de kleindochter van onze buurvrouw trouwde en wij mochten de foto's maken! Van Hoogkarspel naar Westwoud, door naar Enkhuizen, van Hem naar Venhuizen, terug naar Westwoud en uiteindelijk naar 't Fortuin in Wervershoof - het was een mooie dag!

We played a 'home game' last week: our neighbor's granddaughter got married and we had the honor to shoot the wedding! We went to several of the nice little towns in our area and we had a great day!

Voor de fotosessie gingen we naar het Snouck van Loosen Park in Enkhuizen. De vroege herfstzon zorgde voor een geweldige sfeer!

Daarna aan boord van een schip in de Enkhuizer haven nog wat foto's gemaakt.
After that we went on board a ship at the Enkhuizer harbor for some more images.

Voor de lunch gingen we richting Hem, naar de ouders van de bruidegom. Alle daggasten waren daar inmiddels verzameld. Het regende af en toe, maar tussen de buien door hebben we nog wat foto's van het bruidspaar met hun daggasten gemaakt. Hier Job met 'de mannen'.
After the photoshoot, we went to the groom's parents' home in Hem for lunch. All day guests were already there. It rained on and off, but in between the showers we took some photos of the bride and groom and their guests. This is Job with 'the guys'.

De huwelijksplechtigheid vond plaats in het gemeentehuis in Venhuizen. De kus na het ja-woord:

Er waren confetti kanonnen toen het bruidspaar uit het gemeentehuis naar buiten liep!

De kerkelijke inzegening vond plaats in Westwoud.
The church ceremony took place in Westwoud.

Er was een kinderkoor, en ook Sandra's klas was er (Sandra is 'juffie' en al 'haar' kindjes waren in de kerk en daarna bij de speciale kinderreceptie!).
There was a childrens choir, and Sandra's class was there as well (Sandra is a kindergarten teacher and all 'her' kids where at the church and, after that, at the special kid's reception!).

Voor de kinderen waren er kleurplaten met kleurpotloden. Leuk leuk leuk voor de trouwringen!
They had coloring books and crayons for the kids. Fun fun fun for the wedding rings!

Sandra en Job, helaas hebben we het niet gered om deze blogpost al online te hebben voordat jullie terug waren uit Rome (en nee hoor, jullie zijn niet ongeduldig :)). We hebben zoveel gave foto's van jullie huwelijksdag dat het gewoon lastig kiezen was, dus binnenkort nog veel meer voor jullie.

Alexandra en Richard - huwelijksreportage Utrecht en Bunnik

Het huwelijk van Alexandra en Richard werd voltrokken op een wel heel bijzondere plek: het Louis Hartlooper Complex - een tot bioscoop omgebouwd politiebureau midden in Utrecht. En hoewel het Louis Hartlooper Complex al een poosje gebruikt kan worden als trouwlocatie, waren Alexandra en Richard het eerste koppel dat daadwerkelijk in het huwelijk trad in de bioscoop!
The wedding of Alexandra and Richard took place at a very special location: the Louis Hartlooper Complex - a policestation-made-into-movie theatre in Utrecht's city center. And even though the Louis Hartlopper Complex was appointed a wedding location a while ago, Alexandra and Richard were the first couple to actually get married in the movie theatre!

Tijdens de ceremonie lieten Alexandra en Richard een tweetal korte films zien; erg gaaf!

Deze foto is genomen 's morgens vroeg bij Fort Rhijnauwen. Daar verzamelde iedereen, om gezamenlijk met de bus naar het Louis Hartlooper Complex te gaan voor koffie met gebak, de ceremonie en een uitgebreide lunch.
This photo was taken early in the morning, at Fort Rhijnauwen. Everyone got together there, to ride a bus to the Louis Hartlooper Complex for coffee & cake, the ceremony and a nice lunch.

Na de lunch in het Louis Hartlooper Complex ging de reis weer terug naar Fort Rhijnauwen voor de middag en het feest 's avonds in de Ridderhofstad. Daar droeg de bruidegom zijn bruid traditiegetrouw over de drempel!
After lunch at the Louis Hartlooper Complex, the group went back to Fort Rhijnauwen for the afternoon and, at night, the party. The Groom carried his bride accross the treshold, as is tradition!

De opening van het feest geschiedde door een goede vriendin van het bruidspaar die een prachtig stuk van Mahler zong.
A good friend of the bride and groom opened the party by singing a wonderful song by Mahler.

De muziek werd 's avonds verzorgd door de waanzinnig goede band Rubber. De zanger flirtte met de camera :)
The music was in great hands with the amazing band Rubber. The singer was absolutely working the camera :)

Rubber had deze avond een wel heel bijzondere gastdrummer: de bruidegom himself! Richard ging echt helemaal uit zijn dak tijdens de nummers die hij meespeelde met de band, en zijn publiek ook!!
Rubber had a pretty special guest drummer this night: the groom himself! Richard went totally crazy during the songs he played with Rubber, and so did his audience!

Alexandra en Richard, bedankt voor jullie lieve berichtje. Jullie huwelijksdag was een mooie en bijzondere dag! Waarschijnlijk zijn jullie inmiddels al terug van jullie huwelijksreis - hoe was het in Hawaii??? Kunnen we binnenkort genieten van foto's van palmbomen en ijskoude drankjes met parasolletjes op jullie huwelijkswebsite?
