Dewi & Gijs

Vandaag zijn Dewi en Gijs in het huwelijk getreden in het Pauzehuis in Utrecht. Het was een prachtige dag met geweldig lenteweer. We hebben een mooie fotoreportage gemaakt - eerst bij Dewi en Gijs thuis, vervolgens in het Pauzehuis voor de ceremonie en daarna de receptie en het diner in de hortus botanicus van het Universiteitsmuseum van Utrecht.

Toen we vanavond thuiskwamen hebben we de foto's natuurlijk meteen bekeken - dit zijn alvast een paar foto's.

Dewi and Gijs tied the knot today! It was a wonderful, sunny day and we were there to photograph their wedding. The day started at Dewi and Gijs' home, followed by the ceremony in the Pauzehuis. After the ceremony, we all went to the Utrecht Universitymuseum for the reception and dinner. These are just a few shots of the wedding: Dewi at home, the 'I do' during the ceremony and in the museum's ancient greenhouse.

Las Vegas by night

During the convention, Monday through Thursday, we were too busy to shoot any photo's most of the time. However, Wednesday night, after the desert shoot, we took the time to take some photo's of the Las Vegas Strip.

Tijdens de convention waren we eigenlijk te druk om zelf te fotograferen, maar woensdagavond zijn we nog even de stad in gegaan om wat foto's te maken van de 'Strip', het stuk van de Las Vegas boulevard waar allemaal grote en bekende hotels staan.

Shoot out in the desert!

On Wednesday, we had a wonderful shoot out in the desert. As part of our convention, a bunch of photographers went to the Jean Dry Lakebed desert to watch two of the world's best photographers, David Beckstead and John Michael Cooper (of AltF studios), shoot a bride and groom session. It was great to see them at work and to see the difference in their approach. On Thursday they each showed the results of the shoot - and we were shown fantastic work from both (as could be expected from them!).

Afgelopen woensdag hebben we een fotosessie in de woestijn gehad. Als onderdeel van onze photography convention, zijn we met ee paar bussen vol fotografen naar de Jean Dry Lakebed woestijn gereden om twee van 's werelds beste fotografen, David Beckstead en John Michael Cooper (van AltF studios) in actie te zien tijdens een bruid & bruidegom sessie. Het was geweldig om het verschil in aanpak van beide fotografen te zien. Donderdag hebben beiden hun resultaten van de sessie laten zien en ze hadden allebei fantastische foto's gemaakt. Maar we hadden niet anders verwacht!
