Manu & Harpreet - engagement session in Amsterdam Westerpark

Manu en Harpreet trouwen deze week geheel volgens de Sikh traditie en het belooft een kleurrijke en spannende week te worden! De eerste ceremonies hebben we inmiddels gefotografeerd, maar allereerst de fotosessie die wij vooraf hadden met Manu en Harpreet. We gingen naar het Westerpark in Amsterdam, altijd een leuke fotolocatie met veel afwisseling.
This week, Manu and Harpreet are getting married according to Sikh traditions and it looks like it will be a colorful and exciting week! We already shot the first couple of ceremonies, but first of all I'm blogging Manu and Harpreet's engagement session. We went to the Amsterdam Westerpark, which is a great photo location with lots of diversity.

Van deze fotosessie hebben we een mooi gastenboek gemaakt. De gasten van het bruidspaar kunnen straks op de witte, lichtgrijze en lichtere pagina's hun gelukwensen schrijven. Om je een idee te geven van het ontwerp van zo'n gastenboek hier drie bladen; in het album komt de vouw precies halverwege deze bladen (het is steeds een linker en een rechter bladzijde naast elkaar, in totaal 56 cm breed).
We designed a great guest album from this engagement shoot. The wedding guests will be able to write their well-wishes to the bride and groom on the white, light grey and faded area's of the pages. To give you an idea of what a guest album design looks like, I'm posting three spreads; in the album, each of these spreads has a fold right in the middle (so what you see is a lefthand side and a righthand side together, 56 cm wide in total).

Ik ben vergeten het receptiealbum te fotograferen voordat we het aan Manu en Harpreet gaven, hopelijk heb ik tijdens het huwelijksfeest nog een keer gelegenheid een foto ervan te maken!
I forgot to photograph the guest album before we gave it to Manu and Harpreet, but hopefully we'll have a chance to take a few shots of it somewhre during the wedding celebration!
